40 weeks

How far along? 40 weeks
Total weight gain: 38 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Stretch marks? Maybe? If so, they're on my sides and very small.
Sleep: Bad. Hips ache when I'm on my side, back and chest hurt when I'm on my back. Basically just really want this child out of me. At least my sleep will then be solid, even if it's only for an hour at a time. 
Best moment this week: Ultrasound today!! She's measuring 7lbs 6oz! Come out anytime now little one.
Have you told family and friends? Yes.
Miss Anything? Sleep. Alcohol. My wardrobe.
Cravings? Ice cream :)
Movement? Yeppp! Still not moving down into my pelvis though... ugh.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No

Gender: It's a girl!
Labor Signs: Basically none. She still is high and not in my pelvis, no cervix change. Have had some contractions here and there but they're fake.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding Ring on or off? Still both.

Looking forward to: Her arrival! Hurry up little one!
Symptoms: Nothing new. Measured 41 weeks on Monday based on my fundal height. 

39 weeks

How far along? 39 weeks, officially full term!!!
Total weight gain: 37 lbs. I thought this number was supposed to plateau?! -_-
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Stretch marks? Still think the marks on my side could be stretch marks, haven't changed any though and Andrew still isn't sure. I've showed a few people and they're indifferent also. Maybe its just veins?!
Sleep: Bad. Feels like I've tried everything and I just cannot get comfortable. 
Best moment this week: Spending time with Andrew! Trying to soak in our last few days as just the two of us!
Have you told family and friends? Yes.
Miss Anything? SLEEP. I just want to be comfortable for more than 30 minutes...
Cravings? Ice cream :)
Movement? Yes, she's getting stronger, some of her little jabs hurt!

Labor Signs: Have had some contractions, not sure if they are Braxton Hicks or False Labor but either way they suck.

Symptoms: Nothing new here to report. Was measuring 40 weeks based on my fundal height at our appointment Monday. Doesn't really mean much, especially since I'm short and all belly so she really has no where to go but out!

38 weeks

How far along? 38 weeks, skipped a week... oops! Too busy getting ready for little one's arrival :)
Total weight gain: 35 lbs... yikes
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Stretch marks? Maybe?! I think there might be the start of one on my right side... It's pretty far back on my side which is so strange to me. But I'm pretty convinced it's the start of one, Andrew isn't so sure. Either way, I hope she arrives before it gets any bigger :)
Sleep: Bad. Just bad.
Best moment this week: Packing her hospital bag (and mine), especially picking out her little outfits and hats!
Have you told family and friends? Yes.
Miss Anything? The usual.
Cravings? Ice Cream! We went to Vanilla Jills with some friends on Sunday and I hadn't tried it since their Coburg location and holy cow it was AMAZING. I got cultered creme fraiche ice cream and sugar free vegan blackberry. To. Die. For. We will definitely be going back ASAP!
Movement? Yep! Lately she is loving pushing on my ribs... ouch!
Anything making you queasy or sick? No

Labor Signs: I *think* I've had some Braxton Hicks contractions here and there, but Dr checked me on Monday and she is still high up, cervix is thick and closed.
Belly Button in or out? Still in, don't think this bad boy is going to pop out!
Wedding Ring on or off? Both. On during the day, off at night. Mostly just wear my wedding band.

Symptoms: Pelvic Pain... Oyyy it's bad! Ligaments down there are definitely loosening up, so come on little one, drop down!!! 

36 weeks

How far along? 36 weeks, size of a... left blank again. Every app/website says differently!
Total weight gain: 33 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Still terrible.
Best moment this week: Hearing her heartbeat, never gets old!

35 weeks

How far along? 35 weeks, size of a... We left this blank. Likely weighing in at 5 lbs now!

Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Terrible. My hips ache when I'm on my side too long, uncomfortable on my back... Just crummy. 
Best moment this week: Completing the nursery! It's completely ready and it feels so good! 
Have you told family and friends? Yes.
Miss Anything? Good sleep... Might be a while before I ever get that back. I'd be happy with just 2-3 hours if I was comfortable the whole time! 
Cravings? Ice Cream. Every. Day. :)
Movement? Yep! She's head down, and rolls side to side alllllllll the time!

Looking forward to: Our final birthing class! First one was very interesting! 
Symptoms: Terrible sleep, lower back pain, heel pain if I stand too much in a day but not sure if that's pregnancy related...? My guess is yes since my body is having to carry 30 extra pounds! Still feel out of breath at times... I think that's about it for now! (Knock on wood) 

34 weeks

How far along? 34 weeks, size of a cantaloupe melon
Total weight gain: 28.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Same. I'm lucky if I get an hour without tossing and turning.
Best moment this week: Hearing her heartbeat, it's always so much fun :)

Movement? Yep! She's gotten the hiccups the last few days in a row too!

Wedding Ring on or off? Both! Just the last few nights, my hands get a little puffy in the evenings and I do not like feeling claustrophobic so I have been taking my rings off to sleep.

Looking forward to: Our first birthing class on Monday, should be interesting!
Symptoms: I feel very lucky because I haven't really been uncomfortable, knock on wood, but I do have to say I'm starting to get bored of being pregnant. I'm just kinda over it and ready for her arrival. 6(ish) weeks to go!

33 weeks

We suck... no chalkboard photo again!

How far along? 33 weeks, size of... getting very confusing, every app says different. She weighs about the same as a pineapple and is 17ish inches long...
Total weight gain: 27.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep. My wardrobe is becoming smaller and smaller... Even my maternity jeans are becoming less comfortable.. yikes!
Stretch marks? Not yet, knock on wood.
Sleep: Ugh. Just crummy. I toss and turn all night it seems like.
Best moment this week: The beautiful shower that Becky and Monica threw for me on Sunday! It was wonderful!

Miss Anything? My wardrobe... :( having a handful of outfits to choose from is getting VERY boring.
Cravings? Cereal. Ice Cream.
Movement? It's a whole new ball game. Kicks, punches, rolling, all of it! She's been getting the hiccups a lot lately...
